Field Guide program strives to make identification of flora and fauna from all over the world easier and more accessible to people. We do this by supporting the production of field guides by experts and distributing them online for free. From 1999 to 2019, we have published over 1,000 field guides and we get about 300,000 downloads each year. We hope that your field guide can speed up the process of identification for research, education, and conservation efforts!

You’ll be submitting all the materials online and will be asked to submit: 

  1. Field Guide and Photo permission form
  2. Field Guide in pdf 
  3. Original photos used in the field (optional)
  4. Metadata of original photos used in the field guide (optional)
